About this event

Gateway Focus Week is one of our most popular programs, providing five days of in-person, intensive learning for gateway projects. Given that COVID-19 has, for now, limited our ability to travel and gather in-person, we're making the best of the situation and are instead offering a reimagined and free virtual mini-course.

Jumpstart Your Sustainability Plan will focus solely on offering practical and effective steps for developing a sustainability strategy. The mini-course offers PIs of research and teaching-focused gateways and their teams the perfect way to kick off sustainability planning, whether you are writing a new grant or ready to get to the next level with a more mature project.

XSEDE, the Extreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment, is the most advanced, powerful, and robust collection of integrated digital resources and services in the world. It is a single virtual system that scientists and researchers can use to interactively share computing resources, data, and expertise. XSEDE integrates the resources and services, makes them easier to use, and helps more people use them.

Several projects and systems at Indiana University are XSEDE service providers, including Jetstream, National Center for Genome Analysis Support, and the Science Gateways Community Institute.
