About this event

IQ-Walls with Chris Eller and Tassie Gniady.

Large IQ-Walls are available on the IU-Bloomington campus--in the Lugar School of Global and International Studies, in the Scholars' Commons, and in the CIB lobby, for example. Come explore how you can maximize the impact of these walls and use them to display information and research in new and creative ways.

Who should attend?

Are you involved with the humanities or creative activities at IU? This informational series will show you all the services UITS has to offer, from 3D object acquisition to virtual reality for education and research. The series is presented by a host of experts from the UITS Advanced Visualization Lab and Cyberinfrastructure for Digital Humanities & Creative Activities group as well as guest lecturers.

The format of the weekly series at IU Bloomington includes introductions to topics, hands-on expeditions, and lectures by people doing cutting-edge work at IU.

The seminar series is hosted by Tassie Gniady, manager, Cyberinfrastructure for Digital Humanities & Creative Activities, Research Technologies - a division of University Information Technology Services and a center in the Pervasive Technology Institute at Indiana University.

The Supercomputing for Everyone Series (S4ES) aims to bring more users into the realm of advanced computing, whether it be visualization, computation, analytics, storage, or any related discipline.
