About this event

Virtual Reality Expeditions!
In this "VR Expedition,” guests will be presented experiences of cultural heritage and art, where they will be able to visit cities ancient and industrial, from Rome at the height of the Empire to London as steam power began modernizing city life.  Visit virtual museums to view paintings by many of the European masters, or statuary from around the world including the Terra Cotta Army.

Users can try out the latest in virtual reality gear and explore a handful of curated VR experiences. This series of Virtual Reality Expeditions is hosted by the Indiana University Advanced Visualization Lab and the Cyberinfrastructure for Digital Humanities & Creative Activities group, Research Technologies, a division of University Information Technology Services.
