UITS Monitor: Have technology questions?

Have technology questions?

Kaybee, your IU virtual assistant, has answers.

Kaybee, your IU virtual assistant chatbot, has answers to the most frequently asked IU technology questions. Ask Kaybee how to recover your passphrase or how to download IUanyWare software. Or ask Kaybee about Two-Step Duo issues, managing Canvas settings, or setting up Zoom.

The chatbot uses artificial intelligence to determine the best answers. As Kaybee interacts with humans over time, it becomes more proficient at providing accurate responses.

Traveling over the holidays?

Protect your data on the road and in the air.

Plan ahead to protect your data while traveling over the holidays and take extra precautions when traveling abroad. Here are some steps to take before you go.

  • Set secure passwords, codes, or screen locks for all devices so information can’t easily be accessed if the device is lost or stolen.
  • Enroll a secondary Duo device for your IU account.
  • Enable two-step login on important accounts, such as email accounts or banking sites.
  • Back up important data to a secure location before leaving and perform regular backups
