Box goes read-only March 1, retires May 10

If you need to share data via Box, convert your account.

Do you need to keep a Box account tied to your IU email address for collaborations outside of IU? (For example, if you are collaborating on a research project in a folder owned by another Box school, such as the University of Illinois, or a professional organization to which you belong.)

To accommodate this need, all Box users at IU can choose to convert their IU Box account to a personal “lite” account hosted by Box.com.

Faculty and staff: Exchange Online migration ongoing

The move improves email security.

Faculty and staff continue to migrate to Exchange Online. Some have already switched, but if not, you will be notified via email seven days ahead of time, and again one day before your migration. Print or save your migration emails in an offline location in case you have trouble accessing your email once the migration has occurred. Bookmark emailmigration.iu.edu for quick fixes to common issues and quick videos to get you back into your email account.

The Exchange Online environment provides better integration with Microsoft Teams and other Microsoft 365 apps and improves IU’s email security. The Outlook Mobile apps for Android and iOS are robust and allow you to monitor multiple Inboxes from your phone. Watch short how-to videos about how to configure them.
