UITS Monitor: Get started on your new website with UITS' WCMS template

Get started on your new website with UITS' WCMS template

IU's cyber risk mitigation policy, IT-28, encourages units to leverage shared services where possible.  We at UITS are making it easier and more affordable for the university to use our official services, including IU's designated Web Content Management System (WCMS). To that end, we’ve updated our framework and created a simple process for creating new websites. It's quick to set up, easy to use, well documented, and meets IU's branding requirements — all at no cost to you.

New to Box: Box Health Data Accounts

After months of work, IU has developed a mechanism to allow certain kinds of HIPAA-regulated electronic Protected Health Information (ePHI) into a designated Box Health Data Account (BHDA). A BHDA allows users in healthcare, educational, and research environments to electronically and securely share information between colleagues and organizations.

Box Health Data Accounts are not a database solution or permanent storage location for ePHI.  If you need a database solution or permanent storage for ePHI, UITS Research Technologies provides more appropriate solutions.

If you have any questions about BHDAs, feel free to contact Clinical Affairs Information Technology Services (CAITS) at 317-274-5336 or caits@iu.edu, or visit our webpage: https://caits.iu.edu. For questions about the services offered by Research Technologies, contact researchtechnologies@iu.edu.
